Builtforsports.Workseverywhere.

The same engine that names athletes on a sideline names the people in your conference hall, your all-hands, and your gala. Upload the list. Find everyone.

The same engine

It matches faces against a list. Any list.

We built MatchID for sports because sports is the hard case. But the engine doesn't know it's a sports tool.

Give it a list of people with headshots and a pile of photos, and it finds them. A team roster, an attendee list, an employee directory, a donor list — to the engine, they're the same thing.

That's the opportunity. Everything built to name athletes at scale — the matching, the metadata written into every file, the branded delivery, the zero-commission store — works unchanged for anyone with a lot of photos and a list of the people in them.

Why it works even better here

Event faces are the easy case.

Sports is the hardest thing you can point a face matcher at. Most of what you shoot isn't sports.

The hard case — sports
Helmets, motion, distance.
A face half-covered by a helmet, turned away, blurred in motion, shot from across a stadium, streaked with sweat. We built MatchID to name the athlete anyway.
The easy case — everywhere else
Lit, frontal, still.
A keynote. A handshake at the podium. A headshot. The face is close, well-lit, and looking at the camera. The engine that survives the sideline barely breaks a sweat here — match rates go up, manual cleanup goes down.

Who it's for

Anyone with a crowd and a list.

Same product, same workflow. The list is what changes.

Conferences & Events
The badge has a name. So should the photo.
Trade shows, summits, industry conferences, award nights. Upload the attendee and speaker list, and every keynote, session, and step-and-repeat shot comes back named — ready to hand to sponsors, press, and the people who showed up.
Corporations
Your people, found instantly.
All-hands, off-sites, holiday parties, headshot days, brand shoots. Upload the employee directory once. Comms, HR, and brand teams pull any person’s photos in seconds instead of scrubbing folders by date.
Non-profits & Associations
Members, donors, honorees — named.
Galas, annual meetings, member gatherings, fundraisers. Upload the member or donor list and deliver named photos the next morning — to the people whose support you want to keep.

What it looks like

Upload the list. Hand back names.

A few of the rooms MatchID already works in.

The Annual Conference
5,000 badges. Every session, named.
Upload the registration list. Photographers shoot keynotes, breakouts, and the expo floor. Names attach across the whole event, so marketing pulls a speaker’s photos or a sponsor’s booth shots without opening a single folder.
Company All-Hands
The whole floor, searchable by name.
One upload of the employee directory. Every candid, award, and stage shot from the offsite is filed to the right person automatically — an internal archive comms can actually find things in.
The Gala
Donors get their photo the next morning.
Upload the guest and honoree list. The step-and-repeat, the award moment, the table candids — all named. Send each supporter their photos while the night is still fresh, under your organization’s branding.
Headshot Day
One shoot. Everyone filed to the right person.
Shoot 300 headshots in an afternoon. Match against the directory and every image lands on the correct employee or member — no naming spreadsheet, no manual sorting.

How it generalizes

Any list of people is a roster.

Import the list with headshots. MatchID does the rest. Each name is written into the file itself (XMP/IPTC PersonInImage), so the archive stays searchable even outside the platform.

Common questions

From events, companies & orgs.

Does MatchID actually work outside of sports?

Yes. MatchID matches faces against any list of people who have a headshot — an attendee list, an employee directory, a donor list. Jersey-number reading is a sports bonus; face matching is the core, and it works the same at a conference or a gala as it does on a sideline.

Is it accurate on non-sports photos?

Generally more accurate, not less. Event photos are the easy case for face matching: the face is lit, frontal, close, and still — a keynote, a handshake at the podium, a headshot. We tuned the engine to survive helmets, motion blur, sweat, and stadium distance in sports. On a posed event photo it barely has to work, so match rates go up and manual cleanup goes down.

What do we upload as the "roster"?

A list of people, each with a headshot: a registration export, a speaker lineup, an employee directory, a member or donor list. Import a CSV with headshots or add people manually. MatchID matches your photos against that list — nothing else.

Do the people in the photos need an account?

No. You upload the list and the photos; the people being identified never log in. You choose how to deliver — branded gallery links, direct downloads, or named files you hand off however you already share with attendees, staff, or members.

Is this a facial-surveillance tool?

No. It only matches against a list you upload of people you already have a relationship with — your attendees, your employees, your members. It is not facial search of the public, and there is no matching across accounts. Each client’s data is isolated. If someone isn’t on the list you provided, they are not identified.

How much does it cost for an organization?

Storage-based. Starts at $10/mo for 100 GB and scales to Volume at 2 TB and up. Unlimited MatchID, users, and lists at every tier — no per-attendee, per-employee, or per-photo charges. 14-day free trial, card required.
