Cropping
Crop and straighten a photo.
A non-destructive crop and straighten right in the preview.
Crops are non-destructive. The crop is stored alongside the photo and your original file is never modified. The corner marks you see in the preview are the region, not a change to the pixels. To get cropped files out, export to another folder: the copies are written cropped, and the originals stay exactly as they were.

Straighten
Three ways to level a photo
Use the angle slider for fine moves, click and drag anywhere outside the crop box to rotate freely, or pick the line tool and drag a line along something that should be level or plumb, like a horizon or a goalpost, and the photo rotates to match. The crop automatically stays inside the original frame while you rotate. Switch the overlay between 3×3, 10×10, and 20×20 gridlines for precise alignment.
Crops and straightening never touch the original pixels. They are applied when you export with Apply saved crops turned on, and the exported file keeps its full EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and color profile. Reset from the crop view to remove the crop and rotation entirely.
