Switch between organizations

All users

Some people work for more than one organization in GalleryID, a freelancer covering two athletic departments for instance. Each one is a separate account with its own galleries, rosters and billing, and you move between them rather than seeing them side by side.

At sign-in

With one account you sign in and land in it. With more than one you get Choose an account, listing each organization with your role in it and when you last signed in. There is no default and no remembered choice, so you pick each time.

Once you are in

Open the account menu at the top right and choose Switch Account, directly above Sign Out. The menu also prints the organization you are currently in, under your email. Neither appears if you only belong to one, because there would be nothing to choose between.

Switching reloads the page and drops you at the gallery browser, which is how it clears the account you were in. Finish an upload before you switch, and expect to lose whatever you had open.

What does not follow you

•Your GalleryID Desktop license belongs to you rather than to an organization, so switching does not touch it.
•Access is per organization. A role in one says nothing about the other, and an organization that has been deactivated stops appearing in the list.
•Each switch is recorded in the organization's activity log.
