A group is a named, color-coded bundle of people — Media Team, Interns, a department — so folder permissions can go to the whole set instead of one person at a time.

Creating a group

Click Create Group.

Enter a name. It is required, and the button stays disabled until it has one.

Optionally add a description and pick one of ten colors. The default is grey.

Click Create Group.

Adding and removing members

Click Manage Members on the group's card.

Current members are listed on top, everyone else below under Add Members.

Click the plus on a person to add them, or the x to remove them. Each click takes effect immediately.

Click Done to close. Nothing is left pending.

The Add Members list shows active users only. Someone who has been deactivated will not appear there.

Editing and deleting

The Edit panel has no save button at the bottom, and does not need one. Picking a color saves on the click. The name and description show inline Save and Cancel when changed.

Deleting a group also removes every permission assignment made to it. If members reached a folder only through the group, they lose that access at the same moment. There is no undo.
