PhotoShelter

Connect one or more PhotoShelter accounts so photos can be pushed across. Photos upload by FTP, which has no rate limits, and are then organized into galleries through the PhotoShelter API.

PhotoShelter FTP credentials are a different thing from your PhotoShelter API credentials. Find the FTP ones in PhotoShelter under Settings, FTP Access. Both sets are required.

Adding a destination

Click Add Destination and give it a name.

Enter the API key and account email, plus the password and organization ID if you have an agency account.

Enter the FTP username and password from PhotoShelter.

Click Test Connection
This is also what loads your collections. Until it succeeds the Default Collection dropdown has nothing in it.

Pick a Default Collection and a gallery visibility, and decide whether to create a PhotoShelter gallery per event.

Optionally enable auto-export, and whether to wait for face recognition tags before exporting.

Editing later

Leave the API key showing its dots and the password fields blank to keep what is stored. Passwords cannot be cleared from this screen, only replaced.

Browse Root Collection ID is optional and does not affect where exports land — that is Default Collection. It limits what the migrate page browses, which helps on accounts with hundreds of root collections.

Deleting a destination removes its settings and stored credentials, and cannot be undone. More than one destination can have auto-export on at the same time.
