Create galleries for a game and send upload links
Five photographers cover one game. Instead of creating each gallery in the browser and then making each upload link by hand, Create Galleries takes the folder, the date and the opponent once, makes a gallery for each photographer, names them from your template, and emails every photographer their own upload link. The single-gallery case is the same panel with one photographer.
It lives on the Gallery List tab, in the card above the list. Anyone who can manage galleries can use it.
Before the first batch
- •Set the naming template once, under Gallery Settings → Gallery Naming. The default produces names like 26-0912 State University vs Riverside (Jordan Reyes). Events get their own template. Each token is explained in Set branding, domain and org-wide defaults.
- •Give each sport folder a MatchID category with a team name. The Team field then fills itself from the folder. You can type over it for one batch without changing the folder.
- •Photographers who already have a login are picked from the user list. Anyone else is added by name and email, and gets an upload link with no login.

Folder
Pick the folder the galleries go in. The folder also supplies the face recognition mode and roster scope, the same way it does for a single gallery.

Game or Event, and the date
Game is the default and asks for an opponent. Event asks for an event name instead, with no home or away. The date defaults to today. - 3
Team, home or away, opponent
Team comes from the folder. Home writes “vs” into the name, Away writes “at”. Both words can be changed under Gallery Naming. - 4
Photographers
Add users from the list, or click + Name and email for someone without a login. On a shared gallery the first chip is the photographer of record; the “primary” link on another chip moves it to the front. An admin who can invite users also sees Also invite as a user on the name-and-email row.

Structure
One shared gallery, one gallery per photographer, or a new subfolder with one gallery per photographer inside it. Picking two or more photographers switches to one per photographer on its own. - 6
Gallery settings
Collapsed by default with a one-line summary. Visibility, downloads, store, face recognition and roster scope apply to every gallery in the batch. A password gallery takes one password for the whole batch.

Upload links
On by default when a photographer is picked. Expiry, an upload limit, instructions for the upload page, the four notification switches, the email subject and note, and an optional gallery view link. The password can be none, one shared password, or a different one generated per link.

Check the preview, then Create
The “Will create” list at the bottom shows every gallery name, and the subfolder if there is one, exactly as they will be written. The button says how many galleries it will make.
Three ways to lay out the galleries

What the photographers receive
Each email carries the upload button, the password when there is one, your note, the upload-page instructions, and a “View gallery” button when you included a view link. For a private or password gallery that view link is a fresh public share link, made for the email; the gallery itself stays private.
The results screen lists each gallery with its links. Copy link puts the upload URL on your clipboard, the per-link password is shown next to it, and an email that could not be sent says so on that row rather than failing the batch. Someone added by name and email with “Also invite as a user” shows the invite result at the top.
Adding a photographer to a gallery that already exists
Open the gallery’s Settings. Under Photographer, the dropdown sets the photographer of record. Under Additional photographers, pick a user to add them; they can view, upload and tag in that gallery only. The same people appear in the Permissions section, which is where the grant lives.
What a photographer can do where
- •In a gallery they are photographer of record on: everything, including settings, sharing and delete.
- •In a gallery they were added to as an additional photographer: view, upload and tag.
- •In other galleries inside a folder where they hold the Photographer role: view only. They can create new galleries of their own in that folder.
